About Us
People have said that you can begin your dream now or in a years’ time, however you’ll find the only difference is that you are a year behind. So ready or not, at the start of 2022 we launched Beyond Beans.
Beyond Beans is a small, family run coffee van. Our business began following two passions – serving our community, and a great cup of coffee.
Our family has always been passionate about coffee; maybe a little too fascinated with the industry. A favourite family pastime is exploring alleyways and backstreets in search of a great cup of coffee, with a particular love of those served out of a ‘hole in the wall’ cafe. There is something special about café’s where the small team of staff make you feel part of the family.
Another passion of our family is supporting local communities in any capacity. We have spent the best part of our lives volunteering at café’s, festivals, charity and community events making coffee, turning sausages and baking sweets, as well as setting up chairs and tents, and production work (whatever was needed). We truly believe that if you can do something, even something small, to make the community around you a little bit better, then you should.
Our inspiration for a coffee van developed from these two passions. Our idea is simple: a viable business that can support community works; we call it, “commercial supporting community”.
We hope to see you out on the street or at your next function. If you do see us, stop in, purchase a cup and say hello. If you see us at a Community Event, ask us what we are supporting.
